A great break” LongGable 8 contributions Surrey, England.
Sep 16, 2009 | Trip type: Couples This B&B was superb. We had glorious sunny weather and if you like views of the sea and the Cork coastline then its elevated position cannot be beaten. The nearby sandy beaches are suberb and great for children. The double room was large, spotless and had everything we needed. Having an adjoing pub with snack food is a great help....

Jul 4, 2009 Blue Horizon B&B located just 15 minutes from Kinsdale in Cork County Ireland and about 25 to 30 minutes from Cork airport. The host is friendly and ever so kind. The breakfast served each morning between 830 and 930 was more than enough each day! Choices and quite a bit of food! Mary was wonderful as she desired for us...

Dec 9, 2008 | Trip type: Friends getaway My friends and I were looking for a B&B to stay in while passing through Kinsale in County Cork, and decided upon the Blue Horizon after seeing pictures of the views on the website. Upon our arrival we were ecstatic... the views on the property of the water seriously took our breath away. We had originally booked one room with... more

B & B at the top of the hill. The views were superb all around. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with plenty of space. Being a pub also had it advantages as we could have an evening drink without the worry of transport home. The bingo on Wednesday evening was a real giggle. Didn't think

The accomodation was very clean, new looking and spacious and the beds were very comfortable and the views were excellent. Breakfast was splendid, served in the bar but a bar which had been cleaned well and suitably changed into a breakfast room overnight and with more fantastic...

Jun 3, 2008 1person found this review helpfulWe stayed at the Blue Horizon for two nights this May, and it was incredible! It is just beyond Kinsale proper, thru a tiny town called Ballinspittle, to Garrettstown, up to the top of a hill, facing the Ocean. About 7 miles from Kinsale, and it is a delightful and easy drive. It is a beautiful ,modern, but very comfortable... more

Beautiful Views The pictures on the Blue Horizon Web site don't tell half the story. You must see it in person. The view from the Hotel is amazing. The hotel sits on top a hill with the water below and old head in the distance. The place itself was clean and comfortable. They have a Pub/resturant in the hotel with friendly staff...

Apr 22, 2007 | Trip type: Family 8people found this review helpfulThe Blue Horizon is outside of Kinsale - thankfully! While Kinsale itself is a lovely town, there is absolutely no parking even for those staying in town. It was far too busy for our tastes. The Blue Horizon, however, is set right on the ocean. The family that runs the B & B could not be more helpful. The rooms... more
